Hillcrest
Baptist School opened its doors in 1972 and operates as a unique
ministry of Hillcrest Baptist Church to provide an academic
education under the spiritual environment of a body believing in the
virgin birth, and the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ
Our Lord. In a world that is steadily taking Christianity out
of everything we do, at Hillcrest we have the freedom to pray and
learn in a safe Christian environment. We have a loving and
caring faculty and staff, dedicated to a vision of sending forth
Christian children to serve the Lord as well as their community.
The school offers a kindergarten,
elementary, and middle school. Our enrollment averages
approximately 230 students, with a small student to teacher ratio.
Hillcrest Baptist School is
accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission, and we are
monitored on a regular basis to ascertain that high educational
standards are maintained. We are licensed to operate our K4
and Extended Care and must adhere to stringent requirements in order
to maintain this licensing.
